There is a word I do not get to use much in regards to winter in Texas!
The storm last night began with high winds. We could hear it moaning about the eaves. High winds are nothing new, we have them most of the afternoon but these winds just sounded different. Then the crashing of hail and rain. Fortunately the front door did not flood as it is known to do. The storm raged on through the night with more hail and lots of pressure. i feel the pressure in my head, it hurts. Then sometime in the night it switched over to still more wind, and snow!
Snow is expected here through out the day and our lows tonight are expected to be around 9-10. I have not been this cold since moving to Texas.... 17 years ago!
I plan to do lot of indoor warming activities like baking. Once I decide on breakfast anyway...
I will be posting the PH Bible study here shortly. The chat begins at 10 CST for PH members.
I hope all my friends and family are home, snug and safe from the storms.
hugs y'all
I heard on the radio that snow was expected in Texas and I immediately thought of you. Stay warm! We were blasted with a terrible ice storm with high winds last night. It was pretty crazy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for coordinating the study yesterday, Dear One. It was fabulously rejuvenating and fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to next week's study.
