The Beatitudes
Mat 5:3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Mat 5:5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mat 5:6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Mat 5:7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Mat 5:8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Mat 5:9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Mat 5:10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Now for this study I will not be using the KJV only. This study will be a 7 week study as we research each beatitude to learn what it means and how it fits into our life.
The beatitudes represent the 7 principles of Christian living.. If you read everything a Christian is told to do, it all follows these 7 verses.
This study is about putting these truly into practice in our lives.
Each week I will post the Beatitude for the week my thoughts/notes and the weekly challenge. These will be posted on Tuesday morning.
