You know I think I like this vacation/ do not go to town EVERY DAY stuff.
We went to town yesterday to get some stuff for ds. We will go to town tonight for supper with friends. Still I am enjoying staying home. So far I have made a sewing carry thing, 2 aprons and have been learning to relax. My bp is down (135/83 this morning)
I discovered a new yarn shop, well new to me anyway. She makes her own yarn and has the loveliest shades I have ever seen... Check her out here. (thanks Grace!)
If I ever use up my yarn stash or if I ever decide I can knit things besides dish or wash rags I want to order from her. Well I WANT to right now but can not find a good reason to do so as I stare at my piles of yarn.
I have the same issue with fabric. My friend Sharon at Daisy Cottage has tons of fabrics I would LOVE to order. I have however a large rubber maid tote stuffed as well as a bookcase full of yards, FQs and scraps to use first! (this is not counting the pile Judy took to her room to look through... that would fill another huge tote as well...)
That was the purpose, is the purpose in part anyway, of setting up Prairie Homemaker Aprons and Accessories. I hope to have a store built on PH by the end of the week with at least a few aprons in it.
I am not up to much today. My tummy aches and kept me up most of the night. I will probably just relax, maybe read or nap until 330. We have a contractor coming out to give us an estimate on painting and repairing the outside of the house. It is really in serious need of help!
Well I suppose I have rambled enough.
Have an awesomely blessed y'all!
I hope you are feeling better and able to go out with your friends. ((hugs))
ReplyDeletePS: I have that same overstuffed fabric rubbermaid tote! LOL. Keep relaxing and enjoying your vacation.
Hugs
