Researching

As I posted here I am looking at getting a new out of the store in a box sewing machine.

I have been looking on line at reviews and so on and so far this one is my fave. It has many reviews, and most of them are good. I did check Hancocks machines online too.

The price range of the brother is more in my budget. The features give me the basics I can use and others to "grow" into. The ladies that I know who sew and have brothers all love them and that is a big plus for me.

While I do not plan to do any heavy duty sewing (my Kenny will do that) I do plan to devote serious time to sewing and learning new skills.

My goal is for this to be an investment not a toy. I plan to learn to sew enough to offer my own items for sale in the PH Mall. With that in mind I need to invest in a machine that will last me for awhile.

So in a week or so I will have my new machine. While walmart is not my fave place to shop, I am one of those touchy feely buyers who like to carry their purchases home with them. I am not an order and hope it matches the description when it shows up in 14 days buyer.
