So to begin I am thankful that God created me to be what I am. A wife and a mother. I am thankful that He loved me enough to send His Son to die for me.
I am thankful for my Beloved who loves me and takes care of me.
I am thankful also for my sons. They have grown to be wonderful young men.
I am thankful for my job. The hours give me enough home time.
I am thankful for my health. It has not always been the best, but now I am stronger than ever. Even though I am still a wimp.
I am thankful for my quiet home. Though it is small and needs much work, it is full of love and comfort.
I am thankful also for my online friends. They help keep me sane and remind me that caring for some one is not just a face to face thing.
What are you thankful for this glorious Tuesday morning?
Rejoicing with you, for our many blessings, Mel!
ReplyDeleteToday, my thankfulness is carrying over from last night. Yesterday, I spent nearly 7 hours painting Darling Husbie's shop floor with epoxy. It was a huge task (1200 sf), but one that I thoroughly enjoyed doing for my husband. I was completely whipped last night.
While I was saying my night-time prayers, I thanked the Lord for blessing me with a healthy body ~ albeit sore and achy now ~ enabling me to do the physical labor. There are so many ill in the world, and unable to even sit or stand. I just have to stand up and Rejoice!
I am thankful for so many blessings that come my way, from family and friends to a bright, healthy child - from yard sale finds to garden plots, ducklings, happy hens, birthday cards - you name it!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I know I'm on the wrong post, but can I just say how much I adore that photo of you hoeing in your bonnet? Stinkin' cute to the tenth power!!
Hugs and prayers,
