Well it is Tuesday...

I changed dinner plans yesterday. I really wanted bbq. It was 75 degrees out and gorgeous, well it was gorgeous after the massive morning thunderstorm.

Since I had a ton of stuff to do after work, I cheated and got store made cole slaw and potato salad. I am not a fan of potato salad and the cole slaw was awful. I will learn to make it myself if it kills me.

I also got some small dinner type rolls.
When I got home I worked on the laundry, made bbq sauce, and a ton of chocolate chip cookies.

I did my mile work out! I did the whole mile, even the part with the hand weights. There are 2 work outs I love doing one is the walk away the pounds. The other is Callanetics. Callanetics is designed to do pilates type moves, but protect your back at the same time. My goal is to do the first 3 times a week, and the second 2 times a week. Here's to accountability. Of course beginning the second must wait until I have mastered the first! So I plan to begin the 2nd in 2 weeks. 2 weeks from today i mean.

I kept going after that. I found out when I got home that I had forgotten to start the washer... So I washed that load and got supper under way.

Farmer J, since you asked, the roast recipe was simple, 1 cup of apple sauce, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce. Cook on low all day or over night (mine was a 9 lb roast, this is for a 4 lb roast) To do this in a slow cooker, set it on high for 30 minutes, then on low for the rest of the cooking time. I did mine over night and until 330 the next afternoon on low then put it on warm until we were ready to eat. It did indeed fall off the bone and made great bbq pork sandwiches.

Today I am not sure what supper will be... I am thinking shepherds pie... It will not be as work intensive and will let me get to my apron work and kitchen work.

I did not get to cut out my pattern last night, the guys had friends over to play a trading card game, so I hibernated in my room with my laptop and Castle. i do like Nathan Fillion, and I loved Fire Fly.

Well off to get meat out to thaw, make a lunch and decide on breakfast.

To my dear sister Cat, hugs and love honey. You are needed and appreciated.
