Nothing exciting is happening today. Beloved is sick, the cold I had last week has hit him much harder than it did me.
Yesterday I did my mile and I feel good today! A small twinge is beginning in my back, just muscles complaining. An Advil later will take care of it. My energy level this week has just astounded me.
Yesterday I redid the bathroom curtains. I repurposed some long thin drapes I had in there. They were too long, and I knew it. I have had them in there for about 2 years. I am not quite happy with the end result. They need something. Perhaps a lace edge... I do not know yet.
Yesterday was extremely windy, so we did not walk the acre planning garden beds. We always have wind out here, but yesterday was a biggie. We get so much wind we are considering adding a couple wind turbines to the place to generate electricity. Chris says he saw some that are small enough to put on the roof. He also said he can make them himself... I told him if he wants to try go for it.
Today I am making that cola roast again. It was yummy. I will again do garlic potatoes and glazed baby carrots too, since they complimented it so well.
Well Beloved has gone to work, the shower is free so I will grab it and get ready for work.

I fully understand the wind blowing, Mel! Like you, we always have wind. It's those days with 40 - 45 mph winds that just make you want to stay inside.

We have been enjoyig beautiful weather and today begins several days of heavy rain. Will be praying for your DH. Our DD is on antibiotics...sick and in bed. I so love when I have the extra /re-newed energy Mel! But it is then I over-do and pay for it later lol!
